Glaucoma Center of Michigan, in conjunction with the other eye surgeons at the Eye Surgery Center of Michigan, will be the first to perform femtosecond, laser-assisted cataract surgery in Metropolitan Detroit. When you choose to have your cataract surgery performed with this LenSx® laser, you’ll be able to undergo state of the art, minimally invasive cataract surgery that allows for customization and astigmatic correction at the time of your procedure. A bladeless, computer-controlled laser allows the surgeon to plan and perform your surgery to exact individualized specifications, not attainable with other cataract surgery methods.

 With the LenSx® laser, you can move forward with confidence knowing that you’ve chosen the most advanced technology available for your cataract surgery. There are only a handful of centers around the country that are now able to realize the dream of laser cataract surgery and we are thrilled to be able to offer this technology to our patients. This laser is combined with a variety of implant choices, from mono focal implants to special Toric and Acrysof IQ ReStOR lenses, to provide the quality and range of vision that patients seek to obtain the most natural, functional vision possible.
